台湾艺术大学毕业、专攻水墨画的沈亭妘在北京采风时注意到庙宇佛像上历经风雨的鎏金。 她将这一感受融入作品，用正反面贴金呈现“表层斑驳，精神不变”。 此前她曾到陕西、四川等地交流，在她看来，两岸同用水墨媒材，创作想法各有千秋， “交流能得到很多新灵感”。 首次来到大陆的台湾视觉艺术设计师洪主悯被北京的石狮触动。 他以素描结合宣纸裱贴创作，并题“风霜不改守望心”。
